Shabat

Dear fellow Gicometti friends,
No dramatic rescue to report on,
No digital pictures to post,
But maybe you'd be interested in learning
About Julius's nightly adventures?
I would too,
But, Alas, I have no clue
As to his whereabouts.
I only know that each day
He gets more dirty,
His eyes full of secret sparks.
M.

  1. Hi guys Yes, Julius is very cute but also one of the dirtiest dogs in the middle east. I tried to brush him when I was in israel but it was impossible to penetrate the entanglements in his fur. He should really find himself a barber shop where he can get a decent hair cut and a wash.  As to Giacometti, he's been having what you might call a sturm und drang period lately, roaming outside day and night, ocassionally bringing a dead mouse back with him to munch on. Perhaps he's on the Atkins diet...  Did you guys know there is a cat in Downing street 10 called Humphrey? He's described as a most efficient and ruthless killer, totally disinterested in the opposite sex. Isn't that an apt discription of a mass murderer? Have a nice day everbody

  2. No need to call my dog dirty names. Dirty? What about Free? Isn't it much more important to be able to move around freely, instead of being carried around on my mistress's arms like Snoopy, our neighbour? He (or maybe it's a she - I'm not sure) is the cleanest dog in the middle east. But jailed to Eva's home and arms. What a pitiful life.

  4. No need to get overly excited, it's actually a major achievement to be the most Never Mind What in the middle east...considering the competition...
Our Santos, bless his soul, was also fond of the wild life and the wildlife in the streets back in the old days.
I'm still uncomfortable with not always having taken
properly care of him, it was sometimes a disgrace.
Yes, Snoopy is admittedly a sad case, embalmed and burried alive poor thing. What do you expect, his owner being a long standing certified madwoman.
By the way, Giacometti snoozed the day away on the mat yesterday, stretched out on his back and very very relaxed, as if he didn't have a care in the world. What a pet!
