The new workie on the block

Yesterday we were out searching for Aerial. He never came in for his dinner the night before and that was enough to trigger some amount of disquiet in us on his little behalf, the reason being his remarkable regularity of conduct when it comes down to food. He won't skip a meal for neibody.
So out we went on a search and find mission in the neighborhood on the eve of the danish Labour Day that happen to coincide with May Day aka The First of May. A perfectly balanced evening it was, not too cold and not too warm, not to humid and not too dry or dark, in fact, not in the least dark. The only thing slightly off key was our apprehensive and worrisome soul dragged further in the direction of despair by memories of previous futile searches for other missing felines.
As we trudged along trying not to breathe heavily in order to be able to listen ever so carefully to the slightest signs of life, we passed a factory building belonging to our neighbor. Peeping inside the window frame we saw a perfect version of Aerial looking up on us from floor position where you'd expect to find a worker.
Our reconstruction of the chain of events has since led us to believe, Aerial has joined the labour force as a common workie in a plastic factory. He must have grown tired of idleness. Or maybe he's attracted by the prospect of becoming a cat of independent means. Either way, upon entering the factory room accosted by the owner, Aerial gave a squeak, jumped off from one of the work surfaces and ran straight towards us, visibly relieved to end his shift.
But something tells us he will be back for more in his overalls and safety helmet. So if you happen to see a worker's rally today, be on the lookout for Aerial - he might just be one of the good looking guys passing you by.
